Good cask ale is one of life’s great pleasures, and we at Wadworth have a responsibility to ensure that the real ale we brew is of the finest possible quality. We use the very best ingredients, time-honoured processes and knowledge built up over more than a century of brewing beer, to create real ales with great flavour and character.

But this club is not all about Wadworth – it is about real ale. It is the diversity and locality of real ale that makes it special, and we know that informed real ale drinkers appreciate the best beers available from brewers all over the country.So we decided to support the Cask Ale Club which draws the majority of its members from around the “Wadworthshire” area, but we are delighted to welcome members from much further afield. What we all have in common is a hearty enjoyment of the sort of real ale that excites the tastebuds and feeds the soul. It is heart warming, inspiring and above all delicious. To put it in a nutshell, in the erudite words of William Shakespeare “ a quart of ale is a dish for a King”.
